Air duct cleaning
We use the negative pressure method when cleaning your ventilation system.
First, we connect a HEPA-negative air machine to collect all of the dust.
Then we cover all of the registers except the one we will be cleaning first and run a high-powered air whip through to agitate the dust and send it back to the collection unit.
After all of the branches are clean we thoroughly clean the main trunk and then repeat the process on the return air side.
Dryer Duct Cleaning
Dryer ducts should be cleaned yearly to prevent house fires and keep your dryer working properly.
The lint trap in your dryer does not collect all of the lint and this builds up in the duct over time, the first thing you will notice is your dryer running longer to dry the same amount of clothes.
This is because the airflow is restricted and moist air can not make it out of the house efficiently.
If left unchecked this can eventually lead to a house fire.
After every service, we inspect the system with a camera to make sure the ducts are completely clear.
Attic Cleaning
Attic insulation is commonly contaminated with everything from mold to rat feces.
We can remove all of the old insulation with a specialized insulation vacuum and sanitize all of the surfaces to kill any mold, bacteria and viruses.
After everything is clean, we can air seal and re-insulate the attic (see attic insulation for details about our air sealing process).
Insulation
Most older homes don’t have sufficient insulation in the attic. We can add insulation or remove all of the old contaminated insulation, air seal all of the the openings to the attic to prevent drafts and conditioned air from being sucked into the attic. Then blow in fresh clean insulation.
Air sealing is an important step. This includes sealing around light fixtures, bathroom exhaust fans, capping recessed lights, and any other holes or gaps where conditioned air can escape.
Sanitizing & Deodorizing
Your air duct system is like the lungs of your home and it is probably contaminated with viruses, bacteria, and mold spores. We have a specialized process to kill these organisms to give you a clean and healthy home and reduce indoor odors. We use a ULV fogger designed to produce very small droplets to ensure and even coat of sanitizer within the system. Our botanical sanitizer is safe and effective and is on the EPA’s “List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2 (covid-19)”
Furnace Cleaning
Your furnace and A/C coils are probably the dirtiest part of your ventilation system and need to be cleaned regularly to keep the system efficient and prevent premature failure.
